Before the storm,
during the storm,
after the storm,
the emphasis seemed to be,
not the tragedy and destruction
we all saw on TV.
All that was second fiddle,
to what the pundits had to vent
for their prime concern was all about
the campaign for President.
The wind will whip, the rain will lash,
nature will forge it's path,
so remember first the people's plight
before the political aftermath.
